They didn't hide it this year -- the event in Seoul Plaza was openly Christian.

They even found some young people.

Meanwhile, over in a very crowded festival, the signs were a bit different.





They had stickers.


This guy was asking for people to write messages and then they would pray for the people who wrote the messages. I decided that really didn't matter to me.

I sat by a statue on the outskirts, where I ran into more people that I know than I ever saw within the festival.

This bus I guess tried to do a U-turn, leading to a tense moment.

Here's where the Christians were waiting to remind the paraders that their belief in what happens after you die applies to everyone, no matter how hard you disbelieve.

If there was any doubt before, yes, these are Protestants being a nuisance in front of a Catholic church.

So I parked and ran over to shoot this.

The big flag is approaching the cathedral.


They were beeping their horns rhythmically to the Christian music.



I ran into people I met working on the teachers' union a few weeks earlier.

And a little tractor.

There was a fleet of wheelchairs.

The Christians sent the Korean version of Milton from Office Space.


These guys were very clearly trying to get people's faces.
