Road of New Hope

While riding around on the scooter in Gongdeok, we decided to explore a neighbourhood that was in the slow process of demolition.

A lot of the places looked like this.

The cat liked it.

I didn't go any further. There was raw meat on the floor.

Jung disappeared and I started to worry when I found her here.

Below us were some abandoned buildings.

We investigated inside one.

This place had fire damage.

I wanted to follow this skinny cat.

That cat has a pretty big home.

A kid's room.

Insoles!

Out of nowhere someone just walked by.

A couple smashed walls.

We found one section where construction had started.

I think this cat was following me.

A soju bottle and a soiled mattress on a tin roof. Sounds like good times.

A resident who hadn't yet abandoned his home.

"We should move soon."

I bet the owner of this mattress isn't travelling right now.

Next to the section there were apartments already being built. This is what this area will look like soon.

You!

A melted pen.

I guess it means "New Hope Road 2."
