Greenland
We found an old gondola. The wires have been taken down and it looks like it's a seafood restaurant now.
The front gate of the place was pretty impressive.
There was a temple right next door.
This is part of the abandoned waterpark.
Here's a map of the place where you can see some of the rides it used to have.
Closer detail on the castle.
The front gate.
Just when I suggested a spot for scaling the fence, we looked two meters farther and found a big hole in it.
It looks like this used to be a swivel-type ride.
House of Monsters
Inside.
It was a long passage with dioramas on the walls, which were probably once behind glass.
This one has something stuck in its back.
We were more terrified than we look.
This is about how terrified we were.
Dismembered corpse on the ground.
This is the one with the jetpack on its back.
Hand.
Back on the outside.
There were many closed concession stands.
This was on the front of a shooting range.
Statues in a dried up fountain.
A photo booth.
You can see many rides that are no longer there.
There was no trace of the ride left in here.
Why would Sonic the Hedgehog need a car?
A clock.
The bear car.
I found these on a windowsill.
Above the bar.
I thought of taking these as souvenirs but decided against it.
December 1994? No way it's been abandoned this long.
Is Softy Pig related to Piglet?
The basement was a wreck.
Cobwebs.
I took this picture while we were casually walking away from a guy who ran the place. He opened the front gate and kindly enough let us out.
This was over on the other side of the waterpark. Notice the German shepherd and Hagar the Horrible.
There were a lot of temples around here.
Looking out over Daejeon.
These are two pictures but I like how naturally they fit together.
The temple was under renovation or something.
There were many statues around.
Cat!
An old run down arcade.
A cow with a nosebleed.
He's coming right at us!
