Strays
On Tuesday, I saw a new cat on the ledge. Only this one was tiny, a newly born kitten. This was the first trace I'd seen of any of the kittens after I'd heard that the mother cat here had given birth. Note the visible nipple.
The next day, I saw all the cats out again. These two were hanging back, less brave than the first two.
Eventually the second kitten did come down and join the mother and sibling.
