Moon Village
I parked my scooter where I am standing. There was an operating carwash next to me.
A stripped down modern-looking hanok.
The red spraypaint means "empty house."
A nice door.
Inside.
Just a warning not to touch metal bits of a wall.
I headed up the hill to see how extensive this area was.
I heard a cat meowing so I had a look down the hill.
A lot of abandoned homes. There was still quite a bit of activity on the hill though.
The meowing was coming from this kitten who is probably the baby of that calico.
This dog started barking at me.
Can't quite tell if anyone is still living there.
This one was definitely not abandoned.
It's a long way down. Fortunately I was traversing the hill, so I didn't have to make this climb.
Looks like this place is currently being abandoned.
Down the hill most of the homes weren't being condemned.
Up the hill was a different story.
Some newer buildings that were being condemned.
Inside a modern hanok courtyard.
This building seemed to have been a daycare.
There were some pictures abandoned inside the daycare courtyard.
Graffiti on the walls inside.
It suddenly became very hot out, and I regretted wearing two jackets, so I tied them around my waist.
This old woman was looking through the trash.
I thought this was a film projector but it doesn't seem to be. The sign just warns no entry.
Find the cat who is watching me.
The toilet with the best view.
A couple potential souvenirs I decided against taking.
One house standing all alone in a field of rubble.
Time to hit the road again. |
