Itaewon
I guess old TV monitors are no longer worth their weight.
The front door has a "you must be over 19 to enter."
The second sign I had that I was in an unusual place.
Invisible fellatio?
This thing was on the wall right outside the washroom. My best guess is it's a condom dispenser with the cover removed.
The washroom still had toilet paper...nicer than 90% of all other washrooms in Korea.
Karaoke upstairs.
In one corner, there was a hole in the floor. I stayed well away.
There were several empty boxes of panties lying around.
The gaping front window looks out on Itaewon. I can see the Rocky Mountain Tavern.
I think this was probably used as a lamp.
You can see the nipples.
High Casual Disco Teque Xenon Since 1988. As far as businesses that list the date of their creation, that's old.
These stairs lead up onto the side of the stage, which is apparently used for karaoke but I suspect it's used for a bit more.
Back door.
This was on the wall of a strange little room. There was only space for one to sit, and all the walls were bare, with only this calendar from 1994. What was this room for? Lapdances? It's a bit small for that even.
There's really no part of the stage that gives you a good view.
They left their collection of karaoke laserdisks.
The laserdisks are kept in the boxes on the left. I think about three out of four of these were still full, but one was empty.
No idea.
Looking back down on the second floor.
On the way out I was surprised by these ancient Egypyian things.
I found a door to the basement, and there seemed to be a light coming from down there. I crept down and had a look around.
Looks like it used to be a casino.
Tea Time!
This is all that remains that gives the impression of a casino at all.
Up on the main floor.
I could look up through the hole and see all the way up the building.
Outside Onsieur N.
The widest shot I could get of the building.
Brandon came out to meet me at the restaurant Ape with pipe. We were puzzling over what this thing could be in the back of the truck.
