Moving
We locked Millie and Buster in the veranda while everything was being moved. They watched as everything was carried out of our home. Millie looks worried and Buster is in denial.
Jung was afraid that Millie had escaped, but she just found this hiding spot. Can you see the cat in the picture?
What we left behind.
In the car, we gave them a chance to get out of the bag.
Jung held Millie, but every time she lowered her so she couldn't see out the window, she'd cry.
They both went back in the bag and stayed like this until we arrived.
We locked them in the new veranda when we got to the new place.
We hired this elevator vehicle to make loading a lot easier.
We carried Buster out of hiding and put him on the windowsill. He wasn't happy.
Although the view was good.
Millie hid behind the mattress.
The front door.
After the movers left, we went out for lunch.
After lunch, the cats were a little more brave.
Millie wants to be a shoe.
Now she looks happier.
Jung wants a new toilet seat. I thought this one was appropriate but she disagreed.
We went to one restaurant but service was too slow so we left.
At the other restaurant.
The subway entrance. There's a minimum of going down required, unlike our last subway station.
More meters.
