Gwanaksan
First here's a picture of Millie trapped in the window.
And here's Buster stalking some people.
Here's Jung inside Gwacheon Station, the starting point of our journey.
The leaves have started falling from the trees.
Track 1 - The Mighty Urinals of Gwanaksan
This streambed stretched pretty far up the mountain.
Track 8 - The Lamentable Loss of Moisture
Sean brought out his camera and the photograph frenzy began.
We stopped at the food stands for some breakfast. I had a chocolate bar and a beer.
Jung had kimpop.
Some tasteful wood sculptures. I took this quickly because there was a guy coming. No pun intended.
The climb begins.
These two climbed much slower than us because one of them had a previous injury.
Jung throws a stone onto the wishing pile. Some poor sucker had his rock knocked off, and all of a sudden a naked supermodel with a bag of cash somewhere disappeared in a puff of smoke.
We crossed a short bridge.
Track 7 - The Mighty Rampart
The four members of Chosun Blade.
The backup members.
For one brief stretch it was this packed.
Track 4 - Korea the Einsteins of the Paleolithic
A shot of Sean sort of ruined by a shadow.
Track 5 - Baekje and Goguryo, Why Can't We All Get Along?
Track 6 - The Mighty Saunterers
A good place for a picnic.
Another shot ruined by odd leaf shadows...and blinking.
Give him a bandana and he's the Grizzly Man.
Jung happened to hear the girl on the right being impressed with my sideburns as they passed.
I think these kids saw my camera, because in this photo they are just about to leap up and run away laughing.
After falling far behind I finally caught up with everyone at a rest spot.
There was about 50 meters of intense climbing.
He survived.
This time Sean and I fell behind the others together.
Track 6 - The Mighty Saunterers
Track 11 - Sejong and His Mighty Alphabet
"The champion of the common man
Contrary to the other signs like this I've seen on different peaks, this was not at the peak.
The only dog I saw.
A husband waits for his wife to come back from the washroom.
Inside a grotty place halfway up the mountain.
Track 3 - The Mighty Broomwielder
(It probably isn't but I can't read my own writing and that's what it looks like.)
Track 10 - Sacred Messages You are Hewn into the Mighty Rock
(Around this time my dad phoned me.)
Track 9 - Onward to the Apocalypse
