Going to Japan

It took Jonghee a while to show up in the morning.

At the airport.

The airline was suspicious of Paul's American passport, which had gone through the laundry machine and Sukie. He had to write out this note waiving any responsibility of the airline in case Japanese customs didn't let him in. The guy at the boot was unsure of some of Paul's word choices, but I helpfully explained "It's English slang" and he let it be.

Probably the worst shirt to wear on an airplane.

The airline wid attitude.

Jungjae and I were the first two out customs.

Still haven't been probed.

The guy from Royal Shamrock showed up to guide us on the long, expensive journey in to Tokyo.

Waiting for the train.

Then we transferred to the subway to get to Shinjuku.

I met Marc, AKA Tokyohoon, for the first time. He presented us with a buffet of liquor and sex toys.

We met up with all the Korean/Japanese punks in a restaurant.

Planning for tomorrow's show.

Two more bands discussing their strategies.

In the morning.

The hostel had Internet.

This doesn't look as fun as Hongdae Playground.

The strays here were pretty friendly.

Paul stole a bike to use for the duration of his stay.

Do a bit of proofreading and see why Chulhwan was pissed.

We went to Harajuku to look around.

This is in Rudeness, one damn good record store (but way too expensive).

Harajuku is the center of all freaks in Japan.
