September 22 2007 After the Queers After the Queers show everyone went out drinking. Unfortunately Jung had some soju, which meant about an hour later, her brain turned off and I had to get her out of Hongdae quickly. It was good times and I'm always entertained seeing what position she can pass out in. On the way home she was telling me about a conversation she had with Millie, our cat. Apparently Millie went shoe-shopping and had trouble finding two pairs of matching shoes her size. It was around then I was starting to wonder if her mind would ever recover. |
September 22 2007 The Queers in Spot The Queers show at Spot was pretty good. It could've been more crowded, but there was a good mix of Koreans and foreigners and the show was fun without ever going out of control. Also as Sean put it, "No rules!" |
September 22 2007 The Return of Attacking Forces Yeongsoon is out of the army, so Attacking Forces has reunited. Their first show was opening for the Queers in Skunk Hell. Kind of an out-of-place billing, but they played a great set and won the crowd over. You can also see Couch and BB Lucky Town here. |
September 21 2007 The Queers in Skunk Hell Today's gallery is displayed on Broke in Korea, our message board for the Korean punk scene in English. You are welcome to leave comments. The show went alright but Saturday's show was the best one. There was a bit of mokoli throwing inside and it seems like some equipment was damaged. September 15 2007 Skunk Hell It's been a while since I've been to Skunk. I shot photos of Suck Stuff, Rux, and Samchung. During Rux I tried some more experimental shots that are interesting. That's the benefit of having a nearly empty club. Hopefully attendance picks up. |
