Pyungtaek show

I decided to join Paul and his band for a short trip down south to Pyungtaek, the location of one of the largest US military bases, where they were going to play in a club frequented by soldiers.

Getting there was a pain. The taxi driver took me in the exact opposite way we needed to go, so I got out and ended up having to walk further to the subway station than if I'd just walked from home.

This is the van owned by Jonghee which is rented out whenever a band goes touring.

The venue was a western pub with a larger bar than a stage, and a very good diner upstairs. Since I'm apparently a member of Suck Stuff, we all ate for free before the show.

Here's Chulhwan getting set up.

Yes, they had green beer.

My camera wasn't behaving right during the show so I couldn't take many pictures.

Most of the soldiers in the place gave them a wide berth, but these guys watched the whole show. The guy in the green cap was the one who booked them.

Chulhwan lost an arm.

Luckily it grew back.

The gayest shirt in the world. "Nothing is more powerful than the human imagination." Wait till you see what's on the other side.

The band gathered on stage for a group photo and my camera wasn't cooperating.

The girl in yellow seemed to be in charge.

Darts!

On the way home.
