Meeting Marc in Gangnam
Marc was late so I wandered around and took candid photos.
The nearby food vendor. If I wasn't waiting on dinner I might have had a stick of animal flesh.
This woman served ddukbokkgi.
Serving a stick of meat.
This is a poor quality photo but I put it up because it looks like the girl's opening her mouth really wide to stuff food in it.
Sitting by the side of the road.
Somehow I made this guy look towering and blurry.
I ventured down into the station, which hosts a large underground mall.
Lots of cell phones.
Could you imagine this being your workspace?
Every clock seller I've seen in Seoul has always seemed very ornery. This guy looks relatively pleasant.
Marc shows up just in time and we go to Duori for a pumpkin stuffed with duck meat. Sorry the colours are so bad.
Next we went to Big Rock Brewery, a place that doesn't brew but imports Big Rock beer from Calgary.
We ordered the sampler. The best one was probably Black Amber, which I don't think I'd tried before.
On the way home.
Marc and I were going opposite ways.
I don't know how I took this. It looks like I shot it while the train was pulling in and you can see Marc through the windows.
The art of the passed-out human body.
Reading on the subway.
Getting comfortable on the subway.
Kind of strange how the top half and bottom half sort of match.
Nearly empty train. I was impressed it got me all the way to Daelim.
The overpass.
