Hannam New Town

Looking over the western view.

The local green village bus used to follow that road. Also note the mosque on the horizon.

Before we went down, I wanted a quick look at these worker facilities.

Just washrooms.

This apartment had this nice column.

1994 newspaper.

This picture was turned upside-down.

We took a lot of photos before heading downhill.

On our way down. The netting with green on it seems to be the northern border of this zone.

I found the choice of languages interesting: English, Arabic, Korean.

After walking so far and not seeing any cats inside, I was praising Yongsan Cats, but then we encountered this one cat.

Closer look.

This is the view looking uphill, to mark this place.

She looked a little heavy, and was unable to jump up on things while trying to run from us.

I'm pretty sure this cat was pregnant.

She mostly got away from us.

The address of where we saw her.

We weren't going to catch her, and trying would probably make it harder later, so we continued downhill.

I've often seen trees like this left amid demolition.

"Be crazy fo JESUS CHRIST"

For such a large church building, this was a surprisingly small space.

This structure was kind of cool.

Coetzer seemed interested in climbing higher, but I wasn't.

That was the building I wanted to climb.

Wandering through the church.

We rounded the corner toward this alley, which I was familiar with.

Shortly after taking that picture, the door in this metal shack opened and a worker came out. He turned around to close the door behind him, and we scurried off into a side alley.

After hiding for a while and backing up data online, we proceeded uphill again.

The mosque is lit up.

So is the Hyatt.

Why does it say "Fish's"?

The daylight was fading fast.
