Western Seoul

Here's the site of the Sinchon Hulk that has finally been demolished over more than a decade.

I went to Yeonnam-dong to look at this building.

This was seen through a wide gap in the front gate.

Whouse.

Anyway, there were too many people in front of that building.

I drove along, and in a corner of Yeonhui-dong I passed this sculpture of a shoe.

Closer look.

The sole.

This also is what I consider art.

This area I explored a year ago or so. Now mostly gone.

Possibly not all.

Though if these buildings are still standing, I would guess they're not abandoned enough for me.

Some impressive branding of the district.

If I wanted to find a new place to live, I would look at buildings like these.

Not these.

Another abandoned neighbourhood I got to.

This looked like a temple, and didn't seem totally abandoned so I gave it a pass.

Abandoned scooter.

I saw this banner up in a few places. Couldn't identify the creature, but it was memorable.

"Holic."

Driving through a mostly abandoned market.

One stall. Note the handwritten sign in the window.

I hit a palindrome on the way to my next destination.
