Origol

WTF is Ubuntu H-Forest?

This one I understand.

There's the plaquecurrently situated between various types of bikes, in a building that seems to be run by the Heavenly Mother cult, with a screen golf John that seems like it bears its name.

BrokeGPT says: "This was a lodging place (gaeksa) used as a rest stop for government officials and envoys traveling between Seoul and Jemulpo before the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War. A jumak (tavern) street formed in this area."

It's not in very good shape is it?

This is the street in front. It's pretty nondescript and lacks character due to a slightly industrial nature.

I went around the corner behind the cult building and found a neighbourhood with a lot more character. This Seonbichon restaurant sounds appealing, but I didn't know they had budae jjigae that long ago.

I'm a big fan of peeling paint.

There was a little old neighbourhood back here. No way for me to say for sure that this is the same Origol, unless I ask JiHoon or something.

I peered over a gate that seemed locked permanently and saw this.

I went up the path and came to this gate, which seems like it leads to an active property.

Not everything here is active, at least with humans.

Monolithic golf range in the background.

I got onto a roof where I could view the neighbourhood from overhead.

On my way down, I found a bag of gam outside someone's door. They certainly are a big feature of this area.

More fall plants out front.

And more gam.

I grabbed a gam from that tree, which later ended up in the hands of someone at RAS Korea.
