Hongdae Tour

While I was driving to the train station, I got boxed in when a protest cut off traffic. After about five minutes, I reversed and drove between gridlocked traffic, got onto the sidewalk, and drove about 10 meters further ahead to my destination.

This house had been abandoned for several years.

This appears to be related to the construction of the Daejang-Hongdae Line. They're planning to build the Hongdae station on this line right in the middle of the busking area, which seems like bizarrely poor taste. This might even explain why the busking scene was muted this day, if they're already giving up. But it should provide a lot of good fun for me, once tunnel excavation begins under Hongdae.
