Miari Texas

I passed by this office building fenced off on my way. On a visit a few days later, it seemed they were done whatever they'd been doing.

The building.

We saw this sign on metal shutters around the old Hanok neighbourhood.

Another sign. I think they're to soothe the residents of the nice big new apartment complex behind me.

Its entrance.

We wandered down into the old village.

I pointed out the swastika to the German guy with me. He was aware he would see things like this but wasn't sure of their meaning.

We tried to get to a rooftop but all we could do was look out a window. This shows the apartment complex and the derelict neighbourhood.

Time to visit Texas.

The residential area next door was almost completely gone.

A few buildings left in a corner.

There was a hole intended for cats to get through, but the gate was so high off the ground it was meaningless. I suspect it was cut when this piece of hoarding was installed at a previous location.

Kompromat for later.

On a previous visit I did go up those stairs.

The entrance is covered with a new banner about sex workers' human rights.

What appears to be a heavily fortified cat food bowl.

We wandered through.

Fresh gochu out on display for some reason.

Roadkill danger.

One of the red-light district entrances.

Some kind of safety worker walked past us. Looking for us?

A view of the new complex across the street.

K-Mart.

Another entrance.

This walkway was built so innocent pedestrians could pass through the area.

Graffiti commentary.

Reminds me of a carwash.
