Hilto

Here's a view in a side gate that I'd been eyeing. It would be easy to slip underneath the gap, but I'm not sure it would be worth it.

I hit a palindrome number on my way to the exhibit.

Leaf shadows outside my office.

Buster tentatively steps on a suitcase that I'm trying to make into a stair for him.

The cave-in site.

There's that cat in a store next to it.

Some of the text at the Hilto exhibit.

I believe those paintings show the secret penthouse. After I took this, I was scolded for breaking the rules: they only allow camera phones, and they have to be on mute. Which, I pointed out, is illegal in Korea.

On the top floor, they had rescued some of the train set pieces.

The trains were actively running.

From the roof I could see a different hotel, but the view of the Hilton was not easy.

So I went up to the park. You can see here that the excavators are chewing their way down, and they're removing the hoarding bit by bit. Here's a reference photo showing its original height. The penthouse is most certainly already gone.

Imagine if that was your job.
