Northeastern Seoul

I took this picture while parked at a red light curious about the building across the street on the left from me.

On the roof overlooking Baeksa Village, I saw this surveillance camera.

It was pointed toward the village.

I think the last one was the DSRL and this one was my phone.

The left lobe. I later found out it was cut off at some point.

I probably took this one trying to get a closer looka t that red roof.

I took this photo looking at the locked door most of the way up the stairs. Nothing you couldn't get over with some gymnastics.

That blue-roofed house down there was I believe the first abandoned structure I entered in this area.

Anyway let's go down there. I found a lot more places open.

This house had a lot of art displayed on the outside.

This was a hologram that would kind of shift as you walked left to right.

It was a fragrant time of year.

Fun walking over a hole like this.

An abandoned church.

Following a questionable path.

I found an actual well.

Inside another house.

This was the same room I visited last year, where I found a ton of porn. All the porn was now gone -- someone cleared out this place.

Except for the Pac-Man glasses in the bathtub.

Another place I visited.

This photo may have been about that basement hole.

The attic over the kitchen.

And this is a fairly traditional-looking kitchen.

I followed the path uphill.

And uphill.

Then I got to this place.

Inside.

Empty since November 2019, kind of not a long time for a neighbourhood like this.

Also on the same property was this newer structure.

I thought it might make a nice room for having a meal maybe.

The interior of a smashed wall.

A more sharp look.

Some found art.

Check out the asbestos gate.

Was curious what those crown symbols were supposed to mean.

Then I met the cat population.

Stilts keeping up a wall.

That little guy was watching me cautiously.

These cats were less cautious. The one on the right might have had mobility problems.

That curious little guy again.

And the one I think might have mobility issues.

The other one.

Their house had this pretty cool roof.

This is at Miari Texas, where the neighbourhood has been mostly fenced off.

As seen here.

Signs of protest.

I got up on a staircase where I could see over the fence.

I followed this narrow alley, where I went right into the red-light district. Very quickly, an ajumma madam detected me and I left.

An ad on the ground.

Then I went to Aqua Duck Pizza.

In the stack of menus, I found this.

Over at HBC.

And time for a meal at home.
