Cave-in

This is how the cave has looked for a while.

One of my reporters alerted me to this situation, right uphill of my home.

During whatever construction work, there was a collapse, with materials from a house sitting above the site collapsing.

Here's a clearer view where you can see the damage, as well as the cop's male pattern baldness.

After work, I went up on my roof and took this picture, which shows how close it was.

After the crane left, I drove by, and saw all these people gathered.

I killed time for a bit.

Then I drove by again and got this shot.

And this one with a slight light source assist.

Oh yeah, during this I hit 11111.

They left the site like this for the night, possibly with the building downhill evacuated.

The building uphill had a cat.

There may have been someone watching the site in that van.

Still 11111 the next morning.

Next day, they were bagging up debris to try to stabilise the situation. Coetzer compared this to some land reclamation techniques he had seen.

I peeked inside the tunnel. It seems like the entrance has been cleared out, but I see no signs that this thing's existence led to the collapse.
