Block Party: KLYDN Rooftop
Wristbands were to be picked up on the roof of KLYDN. It took me a couple guesses to find the right roof.
When I got there, there was a market event happening, and a few of the vendors were familiar to me, most notably Ryan selling zines. I kind of wish I'd known in advance.
|
Block Party: Outside
Just a couple pictures on my way to a venue.
|
Block Party: Jinu at Phillies
The first act I saw was Jinu Konda. He sounded fine but I don't think I got any particularly good photos of him. This was the best of them, sadly.
|
Block Party: Ejo and the Midgets at Togul
I really wanted to get a glimpse inside Togul, so I went there while Ejo and the Midgets were playing. They were pretty good so I stayed there a while.
|
Block Party: Pro Wrestling Society at Rabbithole
I ran out on Ejo and the Midgets to catch some wrestling. Duncan Solaire wanted me to show up for the first fight, and he told me he really wanted photos of himself holding the championship belt.
|
Block Party: Geoffrey Lewis at Phillies
I showed up a couple minutes late for Geoffrey Lewis, only to find him talking to two potential groupies out front, and giving them free wristbands. When they turned around, I found out I knew one of them pretty well.
She was pretty surprised when I told her all the doors that wristband would open. She certainly knew the name Leenalchi.
|
Block Party: Beacon at Togul
I stopped by Togul again to see Beacon play their usual aggressive set.
|
Block Party: Outside Again
Out in the street, I photographed Jennifer of Lucy Valentine, probably because I knew there was no chance I'd see her set later that night.
The new restaurant K-Roll was handing out free samples for a short while, prior to their official opening in a few days.
|
Block Party: Drinking Boys and Girls Choir at Togul
I went back to Togul to see DBGC.
|
Block Party: Seth Mountain at Phillies
Seth Mountain's set was pretty well-received, as he was surrounded by friends singing along.
|
Block Party: Leenalchi at Pet Sounds
I saw one of the biggest actual physical bands in Korea, playing at an average-sized venue. There were seats for people, but I managed to cram myself into a corner up front.
|
Block Party: 18Fevers at The Studio HBC
After I left Leenalchi, Nice Legs wasn't ready yet so I saw a bit of 18Fevers. Then I left for Nice Legs, and later came back for more 18Fevers.
|
Block Party: Nice Legs at Togul
And now here's Nice Legs, another one of the headliners.
|
Block Party: Pop Ents at Togul
After Nice Legs I was basically done, but I took a while to leave and saw Pop Ents.
|
Block Party: Metal Show at The Studio HBC
The last band I saw was, I guess, Equinox.

Block Party: ...Whatever That Means at The Studio HBC
I showed up early the next morning at 6pm for WTM.
|
Block Party: Jina0King at Southside Parlor
I left WTM a little early to go see Jina0King.
|
Block Party: WinningShot at The Studio HBC
Then I ran back to The Studio HBC to see some of WinningShot.
|
Block Party: Yangbans at Togul
Next I went to Togul where the Yangbans, the people actually in control of Togul, were playing.
|
Block Party: End of the Night
Just a few more pictures as my night was winding down. There was much more to go, but I had seen as much as I could.
