Subway

There were a lot of cops out, due to the usual weekend proetsts.

I had to push my way through a police line to get into this store to get a new battery for my remote shutter.

A dark afternoon.

It's darker in here.

And wet.

There were bikes in the tunnel. I would have borrowed oen but they both had locks.

I walked farther than I've gone before, and reached this division in the tunnel.

It seems like it goes into two smaller subway tunnels, presumably while crossing under the river.

Here's the tunnel under the river.

There was a giant door that could slide down.

The left tunnel was darker, so I went that way.

Passageway between the tunnels.

And another. They were spaced out at thirds of the way through.

Phone, but no phone.

I'm on the other side of the river.

More large tunnel.

Looking back teh way I'd come.

There were vehicles like this around. This is good because it means they definitely won't be testing real trains.

This machine started grumbling, which alarmed me.

Turns out it was just related to drainage, and likely automated based on water levels.

A big bag of garbage.

Emergency locker.

I thought this box looked weird, as if it had slipped sideways a little. When I got to the next one, I saw that they just didn't care about appearance.

I thought I saw a 666.

About 20 minutes later, I'm reaching the familiar bend where the station isn't far.
