Mural Village

Sort of dramatic paint-chipping where the fire extinguishers had been removed.

I left my scooter behind and hiked up to find the murals.

I slipped through the curtain to see what remained of the murals.

A lot of these panels, which must have been about five feet tall, showed folktale scenes. I didn't recognise them all.

Where the sidewalk ends.

The turtle brings the rabbit to the undersea palace of the Dragon King, who needs a rabbit's liver to survive.

The rabbit, brought back to land to fetch his liver where he keeps it in storage, tells the turtle he's an idiot and runs off.
