Hilto Hotel

It's known that there's a penthouse on top of the Hilton that was owned by the Daewoo owner family for a while, but it's less-known that it's accessible by just walking up the stairs.

I waltzed in and the penthouse was open.

This is the view out the penthouse window. There is some glare, annoyingly.

There were a lot of objects on display like this.

This side looks sort of toward where I work.

I live somewhere down there.

A higher-up view of the area with the fireplace.

On the upper level, I found a bunch of office chairs with signs on them indicating the defect that had them taken out of service.

I've tried this door before. It was always closed. Not this time.

Then I waltzed up onto the helipad.

My office is immediately to the left of the large black building. If I had done this sooner, I would have gotten a much nicer view of it.

Looking back the way I'd come, you can see the iconic fold of the building.

The way down and up.

The reason I was apparently able to get onto the roof was these workers. They never acknowledged me, so either they didn't see me or they didn't care.

I ducked back inside and looked at a kitchen area.

Then I decided to go back up to the roof.

I moved a bit closer to the edge.

The view without glare.

I'm pretty sure my home isn't in view, but just barely.
