Camp Kim
This plaque still stands in front of the construction hoarding, which I was able to look under and confirm hides a pile of rubble, not the building where we used to meet for Yongsan Legacy.

This is not how you build a fence. This is the side that should be on the inside, because it's easier to climb up on this side.

Anyway, I got behind the curtain and viewed the base's wall.

I considered the possibility of using those letters as hand and footholds, but after trying I ended up deciding it would be easier to climb a tree.

The way forward.

From a tree, I was able to see inside.

After getting back down, I looked at this clipart for probably the same recycling center.

Across the street is American Diplomacy House Seoul. When I was walking with the four survivors of the Itaewon disaster I met, they told me on the way there earlier that night they'd passed in front of this place and its murals, which amused them, I think in a positive way. That made me reflect a bit more on these murals, which I've noticed before in the past but not really looked closely at.

The most American mural of them all.
